ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artist's Statement
I am a Gulf Coast-based, mixed-media fine artist creating textured botanical abstract realism in ink and oil. My work begins in collaboration with plant allies, whose impressions become the abstract foundation for multilayered compositions of landscape, wildlife, symbolism, and ritual.
Rooted in my experiences of nature immersion and spiritual practice, my paintings explore the Rooted Seer Spiral—a medicine-wheel framework of remembering, transformation, and becoming. I work primarily from places I have experienced, plants gathered from the landscapes around me, and my own encounters with Earthly nature and the spirit world.
Through my art, I invite viewers to remember what we have never entirely forgotten: our connection to the living Earth, the unseen world, and the deeper wisdom within ourselves. My hope is that each painting becomes more than something to observe—it becomes a threshold into mystery, connection, and remembrance.

An Invitation to Adventure
Welcome to my enchanted world.
I believe there is more to this life than what we can see. The Earth is alive with story and spirit. Plants carry wisdom. Nature speaks in patterns, cycles, and unexpected encounters. And somewhere beneath the noise of everyday life, we carry an ancient memory of belonging to it all.
My art is an invitation to remember; To wander beyond the familiar; To become curious about the seen and unseen; To notice the small miracles happening around you; To listen more closely to nature—and to the quiet knowing within yourself.
You don't need to know exactly where the path leads. Perhaps you are here because a painting stirred something you cannot quite name. Perhaps you are searching for a deeper relationship with nature or spirit. Or perhaps some part of you simply suspects there is more.
Follow that curiosity.There are many ways into this world—through art, story, ritual, nature, and the Rooted Seer Spiral. Take what calls to you and begin there. The adventure is not about becoming someone else. It is about remembering more of who you already are.

Artist's Bio
Kat Sticker is a mixed-media fine artist, author, herbalist, and creator of the Rooted Seer Spiral. Born and raised in the American South, she developed a love of art at an early age, influenced and encouraged by her artistic and spiritually adventurous mother. That early creative foundation grew into a lifelong exploration of different mediums, eventually finding its deepest expression at the intersection of art, nature, and spirit.
A lifelong seeker of the mysteries within and around us, Kat has spent decades exploring spiritual and healing traditions, including shamanic practice, energy healing, herbalism, ritual, and intuitive arts. Her experiences immersed in nature—from forests and mountains to Gulf Coast swamps and marshes—have increasingly become inseparable from both her spiritual practice and her creative work.
These threads converge in the Rooted Seer Spiral, Kat's evolving framework for remembering, transformation, and becoming. Her paintings, writing, and ritual work invite others to rediscover their own relationship with the living Earth, the unseen world, and the wisdom rooted within themselves.
Kat lives on the sweltering Texas Gulf Coast exploring swamps with her lovingly spooky husband and loving on her two wild-hearted children and a playful assembly of cats.
